A friend of mine has two young children. He always says one was born from Mommy’s belly, and one from Mommy and Daddy’s hearts. Beautiful!
So when I saw this on the bookshelf, I just had to read through it.

I’m a firm believer that children need to see themselves in books they read. While adoption is a very big and sometimes complex idea for children, this book expresses it very simply: Mommies and Daddies LOVE their baby so much their heart could burst!
Isn’t that the truth! Read it. Let me know what you think!
Any other adoption books for kids you’d recommend?

I just read this book yesterday…I thought it was a unique book. I love the phrase ‘born from the heart’.

At first, I thought it may be a little confusing b/c they show the parents at the doctor. But then I thought about the little kid that this would be read to, and how special it would make them feel!

Jamie Lee Curtis wrote “Tell me again about the night I was born.” I haven’t read it, but know people who like it. 🙂
